CCC Students Celebrate Nutrition Month with Nutri-Tiangge and Culinary Contests

Calauag Central College, Inc. (CCC) Basic Education Department students gathered at the CCC Mt. Site Covered Court on Thursday, July 31, 2025, to celebrate Nutrition Month with a festive showcase of creativity, entrepreneurship, and healthy living.

Learners from each grade level arrived early, bringing their materials and enthusiasm to set up their respective Nutri-Tiangge booths. Laughter, cheers, and music echoed throughout the venue as students diligently assembled their displays featuring local produce, ukay-ukay items, and other products aligned with the event’s theme.

While some students focused on their booths, others made their way to the public market to gather ingredients for two parallel competitions—the Cooking Contest and Table Setting Competition.

Before the formal judging, students and teachers toured the Nutri-Tiangge booths, sampling and purchasing various goods on sale. The lively atmosphere was further energized by intermission numbers from each participating section, with performances ranging from singing and cheering to group dance numbers designed to entertain the judges.

As the performances concluded, the cooking and table setting entries were evaluated, and contestants patiently awaited the results.

The celebration ended with students demonstrating responsibility and cooperation by thoroughly cleaning and organizing the venue before heading home.
