ManSoc and JEO Hold Miting de Avance and Elections

September 15, 2023 saw the CCC COMELEC organizing the Miting de Avance for ManSoc (Management Society) and JEO (Junior Educators Organization) at the CCC Covered Court (Mt. Site). It was the event where aspiring student leaders presented their visions for the future of the school.

ManSoc had two parties contending for leadership: the Bright Party and the Goal Party. Rossman Villarama led the Goal Party, while Rommel Layosa was the presidential candidate for the Bright Party. The Miting de Avance for ManSoc kicked off at 8:00 am and wrapped up by 10:00 am.

By 10:00 am, JEO took the stage with two parties in the running: the Papel Party and the Barbie Party. lan Lobendino was the presidential candidate for the Barbie Party, while Melody Balane led the Papel Party.

The anticipation was palpable as election day continued into the afternoon. Voting took place from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the CCC Main Building. Students cast their ballots and chose who they believed would best represent their interests.

As the clock struck 4:40 pm, the counting of the votes began. The CCC COMELEC worked diligently to ensure a fair and accurate tally. It was a nerve-wracking experience for all those involved while the results were being eagerly awaited.

At 6:00 pm, the moment of truth arrived. After hours of counting, the winners were finally announced. Rossman Villarama emerged as the president of ManSoc, securing the trust of his fellow students. Over in JEO, lan Lobendino celebrated his victory as their newly elected president.
